SUNRISE ON THE HORIZON

As the sun shimmers on the horizon
And the birds begin to wake
I stand on lonely hilltop
Waiting… for a new dawn to break

The fingers of the suns rays
Travel slowly across the land
Chasing away the shadows
From the lonely spot on which I stand

Gently… slowly
Night’s veil lifts away
Revealing a world of bright new colour
Allowing serenity to stay

I close my eyes…
Face towards the sun…
My heart I allow to open
My thoughts allowed to run

I feel its trailing fingers
Fall softly on my face
It purity banishing
Demons soon displaced

Caressing me so gently
So lovingly and secure
Bathing me in hopefulness
Will this now endure?

Inhale the sent of freedom
Listen to the sound of peace
Feel the light through lidded eye
See from your heart… allow troubled thought to cease




FOREVER A FUTURE

forever for a future
with hope to save the day
wishing for tommorow
hopeing memorys fade away

but

with out the hope to lead us
when we are all alone
tommorows just a nightmare
with new torment to be shown

hope dosent heal the body
or take the pain away
it doesnt spring eternal
no matter what they say
